Seven stages of product communication

Our seven stages of product communication:

1. Analysis

To adapt our services to your exact needs, we take into account the parties involved. We identify your client segments and rely on your marketing strategy to synchronize with it and to help you meet your goals. It is also essential for us to attain good knowledge of the industry to correctly assess newsworthiness.

2. Editorial production

Text must be written in a professional, journalistic fashion in order to be selected by an editor. Therefore, we provide our journalists with all the necessary information. They also exchange additional data with our media department. Before the text is translated, we send it to you for approval.

3. Media selection

Since we specialize in the trade press, an efficient press campaign means targeting the right audience. Accurate media selection requires knowing the industry, the product being promoted and the profile of the client company. We have a large database of 45,000 entries covering more than 120 countries at our disposal.

4. Translation

To increase the chances of being published, it is crucial to release information in the language used by each target magazine. Therefore, our native-speaking translators with technical backgrounds guarantee the use of industry-specific vocabulary.

5. Picture selection

Images and text complement a successful editorial release. Pictures are thus key elements. We help you select the most appropriate ones.

6. Distribution

We send all articles by regular post and email (if required by the media). A reply card is enclosed with each one to gather feedback from editors. Material is also published on the INS Press Club web pages.

7. Follow-up

INS’ mission does not stop at the distribution step. A follow-up report gives you the results of the press campaign. Based on the frequency of the publication, the follow-up takes place four to eight months after the campaign.
